Trouble with tiled gallery and WP update

Your theme and plugins are loading a lot of javascript, so it’s possible that one of them is causing a conflict. Can you try turning off all of your plugins and switching to the default TwentyEleven or TwentyTwelve themes, and the turn them back on one by one until you find the culprit? Let me know what you find.

I just switched to twentyeleven theme and the problem disappeared. The theme I use is a premium with functionalities to display photos, that I progressively “simplified” by tweaking code in order to get what I wanted. Since I ain’t no php or js master I am not very sure how to dequeue unnecessary js sripts.

I can’t help you much because your theme could be including those scripts in several different ways, such as by hard-coding it in the template files, or by enqueueing them somewhere in your functions.php file, for example. What makes my task even more complicated is that it’s in the back-end of your site for this premium theme, so I can’t try to solve it myself. I suggest looking to see which jQuery version your theme is loading in the backend, but this will involve taking a good look at your theme files. This will be a good way to learn all about coding for WordPress if you were at all interested! ??
