• Hi, I have been using this plugin for a long time without problems, and enjoy and appreciate the functionality very much. Thank you for your work.

Recently, I wanted to install a better search engine (Relevanssi) on my WordPress site and have found that Insert PHP will run on every single page where it is present in the search results, often generating log errors depending on the nature of the particular script.

Is there a way to get Insert PHP to detect when the article is being called up as a search result or preview, and not run the eval()?

    Thanks,
    ~Walter

    Hi Walter,

Unfortunately, I don’t know how to detect within the plugin if a page is being called as a search result or preview.

Perhaps your PHP code could be used to detect the URL in the browser and do output accordingly. (Consulting variable $_SERVER[“PHP_SELF”] comes to mind, but I haven’t tested it.)

    Will
