Trouble with Redirect and WordPress Search

Hi all,

Interesting question that I’m hoping you all can help me out with.

I have a server-side redirect that brings my website, evilbeetgossip.com to evilbeetgossip.film.com. Right now, it’s working fine almost all the time, except for in the case of WordPress search.

For instance, entering the following URL (a search for Natalie Portman) will not redirect:

https://evilbeetgossip.com/?s=natalie+portman

(I have the same problem if I put www in front of the URL.)

The redirect works in all other cases, as far as I can tell.

This is mostly an issue with people coming in from search engines on the old search URLs.

Thoughts? It’s weird, right?
