Trouble with permalinks 404 htaccess

Hello,

I have an issue with permalinks that I cannot figure out. WP4.3 and WooCommerce

If I directly enter a product category URL into the browser I will get a 404. HOWEVER if I click the same link on the site it will go to the correct category.

The URL shows up like this when entered directly into the browser and generates a 404:

https://mysite.com/product-cat%E2%80%8Begory/product-subcategory/pro%E2%80%8duct/

When I click the same product category on the website it is correct and looks like this with no 404:

https://mysite.com/product-category/product-subcategory/product/

I’ve resaved the permalinks and even had WP generate a new .htaccess and still have the same problem.

Any help is appreciated.
