Yesterday, I lost access to my Media Library… once the webpage is done loading, the media screen will still display a circle symbolizing ‘loading’ however the webpage will stay like this for over ten minutes. I know it isn’t my internet because I am able to access anything else quickly. I attempted to upload a new image via the ‘Edit Post’ page and a message pops up in a red box saying “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.” Any help would be great!

  • Try deactivating your plugins to see if any are causing that. IF not, leave them off and switch to a default theme to see if it’s the theme you are using.

IF not, please post a link to your site.

I deactivated all plugins that I have installed, nothing seemed to make a difference. I was able to change to another default theme but I am still having the issue. My website can be found at https://www.kamisheree.com

I don’t see a default theme active, but I do see this code at the top of your site code above the DOCTYPE – which is always wrong and may be causing problems.

    Did you add that someplace?

I guess I am not following with the default theme, sorry I am still learning. That does look familiar… I think I had to add that so I could verify my site with Pinterest… I’m not entirely sure where I put it though, or how to remove it. Would that have interfered with the media library that significantly?

Might have. Go to Appearance > Themes and activate Twenty Fifteen theme.

Never mind I found the code and removed it, all is well! Thank you for your help!
