trouble with installing any theme in wordpress

  • my themes were working perfectly when i was using the older version of the wordpress but the day i updated my wordpress version my website stopped working
    now also no other theme works on the website
    even after trying all the themes which are even compatible to wordpress 3.0
    i contacted the my host also they said it is not their problem you should contact wordpress people i am not getting what to do please help??????

    Try decativating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    There is a solution for you krush200006!
    1. Go to google, download FileZilla
    2. Instal FileZilla
    3. Open it, write your website, your log-in name and your password.
    4. Click QuickConnect
    5. In the first box at right which it says: remote site write this:
    /wp-content/themes/
    6. If you have download your theme (ITS A ZIP FILE NOW), Now open it and only take the FOLDER(NO ZIP FILE) that says the name of the theme (NO PLUGINS, LICENCE E.T.C!), there are also introtuctions there that may help you!
    7. Now bring the FOLDER as i told you before on THEMES which it is going to appear at /wp-content/themes/
    8. It takes little time to upload it (FileZilla) than wordpress!
    9. Now you uploaded it!
    10. Now go to your website to see your new theme!!!

    I’m been having same issue as Khush! The only thing that shows up is color and text, no images whatsoever.

    @admincy – I tried that many times, doesn’t work.

    Hello guys, I can’t get the grid-a-licious theme to work on wordpress 3.0, do you know of anyway of making it happen? Thanks for your help.

    I have uploaded four prenium themes by FileZilla successfully..
    @uzma Are you sure, you make all the steps uploading thems on filezilla?

    @ admincy – yups. all i see is text and color, no images whatsoever. The only theme that works is twentyten.
