Trouble with export/import

    Hello

    I’d like to import some of my posts to another site (both are www.remarpro.com sites) but it is only importing the tags. I thought that perhaps the files were too heavy and deleted some of the photos but it’s still only exporting the tags.
    It worked fine when I upgraded to www.remarpro.com from .com and imported all my posts.
    Help please!

  • How exactly are you trying to export/import the posts?

    I go to Export and I make my choices in the boxes listed and download the export file, which I then import from the other site. It’s basically the same procedure I used to export/import from WordPress.com to .org.

    There shouldn’t be any problem with that. How large is the .xml file?

    Have you actually opened the .xml file to see if the posts are being exported correctly?

    OK, I tried twice and it finally worked. I’m trying to figure out what I may have done wrong…

    If the server was a little flakey, the .xml file might have been corrupted as it was being created.
