I’m trying to set up ads to not display on posts in certain categories or with certain tags. Under the “Display for all categories, tags and taxonomies” and “Display on all category archive pages” options, I have selected the categories and tags in the “Hide from here” lists, and added the post title to the “hide ad here” list under “Display an all individual posts, pages and public post type pages”.

The post still has no tags or categories other than ones that have been selected in the “Hide from here” lists, but still has ads display on the post.

Any ideas on where I might be having a problem?

    Hi ArticleCats,

    thank you for your message.

I can’t spot anything in your description, sounds good so far.

Could you still send me a screenshot of the settings via https://wpadvancedads.com/support/?

    Thanks

Just a follow up, Thomas was really helpful in getting the plugin to work on my wordpress build. Turns out my theme was doing some funky stuff, and we got everything to work. I’m really happy that I’ve found an app with a developer that is so accessible and open to helping.

I got a similar problem with attachment pages, I can’t hide some ads in specific post attachments (parent post has the discriminating category and there it works).
Any check I can do in my theme ?
    Thanks

    Hi xantrix,

first, please create a new thread, because the problem was solved for ArticleCats, but he might still get notifications if we talk here.

I think the problem here was a duplicate loading of the jQuery library. I saw this when checking the source code in my browser.

You can open a new thread here or contact me via the support page with more details.

    Thanks
    Thomas

Sure you are right! I’m going to open a new thread. thanks!
