Trouble with category-subcategory-product name slugs

    Hi to all

    I am having trouble setting categories , subcategories and product names for woocommerce because I can’t have the same slugs even if they are not in the same parent category.

    here is what I would need:

    BRAND1
    –SHOES
    —-ACCESSORIES

    BRAND555
    –SHOES
    —-ACCESSORIES

    but while I can have permalink like brand1/shoes/accessories, I can’t have the same for BRAND555 as wordpress doesn’t support the same slugs even when they are in different parent category.

    How to deal with this. I mean I can’t have permalinsk like:

    brand1/brand1-shoes/brand1-accessories
    brand555/brand555-shoes/brand555-accessories

    This would be too much same things in permalink.

    Anyideas how to solve this nice way ?

    Hi there,

    Category slugs must be unique, so it won’t be possible to setup a URL structure exactly this way. The structure you’ve mentioned is most likely the best way to handle this.
