• Whenever I upload an image to use in a post I get the following message:

Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(C:\PHP\uploadtemp\php1C33.tmp) is not within the allowed path(s): (/) in d:\home\us504317\wp-includes\functions.php on line 2402

After uploading the image I am able to see the image in the post itself but not as a featured image on my home page. On my home page there is only an image placeholder that shows where the image should be.

below is a link to my site:

    Sylmobii,

Did you ever sort your problem out – I’m having exactly the same issue with one of my sites when using the flash uploader. Instead of being able to add title and cptions ect i get this warning message

Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp/phpBXtybX) is not within the allowed path(s): (/var/www/littlehaven/data:.) in /var/www/littlehaven/data/www/littlehaven.org.au/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2402

    Hi there,

I have a similar problem with my featured images, except I get a line of text (including “no such file or directory …”) in the spot where I assume my image would go. The only thing I’ve found to get rid of it is to just remove the featured image.

Here’s what I mean: https://www.dessertion.com (see the “luck with lucuma” entry)

Also, I’ve noticed that the “Edit Image” button doesn’t show up in my “Add an Image” module. Ever. (I just started this blog a few weeks ago.)

I’m using the Bueno theme from Woo Themes with WordPress 3.0.4

Any thoughts would be much appreciated. ana.
