Trouble uploading media

  • I keep getting this error message while trying to upload certain files.

    “filename”.jpg
    An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.

    I’ve uploaded media before and never had trouble with it. Closed and opened my browser, logged out and logged back in, tried uploading other similar files, tried again later, tried days later…I’ve done everything I can think of! Funny thing about it is other similar files don’t give me any trouble, yet some others do. All files are under the maximum upload file size by the way.

    Help!! I have no idea what to do but this needs to be fixed ??

    Try deactivating all of your plugins to explore whether any could be responsible. If none are, keep all plugins deactivated and switch to the Twenty Fifteen/ Fourteen theme to see whether it could an issue with your theme.

    Still not working /: tried deactivating all plugins, switched to Twenty Fifteen…I still can’t upload pictures!
