Trouble uploading images

Is it possible that you’re .org setup restricts the max file size that can be uploaded to your site? If you’re not able to increase the file size on the backend, you could try adding this plugin and trying to upload the image again? If that doesn’t do the trick, you may need to talk to your hosting company because they may have restrictions in place that you’d need to chat with them about.

It doesn’t really matter what size the image is. And my hosting company tells me the problem isn’t on their end.

What are the site URL’s and are you using the WP App on your tablet?

I am using the WP app. However, I am trying to send it from my tablet’s hard drive to the site’s address as given in its settings. The site is at https://www.exploringdementia.com.

Okay, I misunderstood your earlier question. I have tried this from WP on my desktop computer as well. I am trying to email the image from my tablet to WP, using the email that was given in the WP settings. Since the problem occurs on the desktop version of WP, I can’t see that it is a mobile issue.

This seems to be more an email issue. All I want to do is send a file — any file into my WP site from the oUtside. It’s not a problem with my host. I already checked there.

How are you posting by email – which plugin?

I’m not using a plug-in.

And the file goes into my .Com site just fine using the same method.

You can’t post by email without using a plugin – I’m guessing you are using JetPack?

I’m not trying to post it. I’m trying to send it to my Media Library.
