Trouble styling widget

Hi there
Thanks for this great simple plugin and excellent instructions. It works just as expected and is very welcome!
I have tried following your guide to styling the widget, but I’m really struggling.
I need to fit the widget into a small space in my footer to match the height of other widgets (225px high). I can make the rows that have no events smaller, but I cannot make the rows with events smaller – it seems there is an element style which can’t be altered. <div “style=”min-height: 36px”;>

Do you have any advice?
