Trouble scheduling post and auto tweet

  • Hey, I’m having an issue with scheduling posts and WP Twitter Auto Publish. If the post is scheduled it doesn’t post to Twitter at all. I’ve tried disabling all other plugins but that didn’t help, so I don’t think it could be a plugin blocking this feature. If I publish the post immediately it will post to Twitter without any issue.

  • Please set “Auto publish on editing posts/pages/custom post types” to “?Use settings from post creation or post updation” at Advanced Settings section under general settings.
    Also make sure that publishing permissions is enabled while scheduling posts.

    I changed the settings “Auto publish on editing posts/pages/custom post types” as you described but it didn’t change anything.
    I’m not sure what you mean by publishing permissions. Can you elaborate?

    There is a metabox at posts for enabling or disabling publishing permissions at post level.

    At the option Enable auto publish to my twitter account you can set to Yes ,if you want to auto post the WordPress post on publish/update.
    Or you can set it to No,if you don’t want to auto post.
    For wp scheduled posts you should set “Auto publish on editing posts/pages/custom post types” to “?Use settings from post creation or post updation” at Advanced Settings section under general settings.

    Got it. I’ve done all of this but it doesn’t solve my issue. Scheduled posts still do not post to Twitter.
