Trouble Loading

I’m having trouble with my site lately. Occasionally the site will load very slowly and many times will time out and not connect. I feel like this started happening after I upgraded to WordPress 2.6.

Also, occasionally when it is loading very slowly, when it finally connects to the site, it will load on a strange landing page like this:

I know it’s happening for other people too because I am seeing landing pages in my web stats that look like this.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
