Trouble getting site URL

Had you checked your local virtual host settings?

Yes thanks. I can use that when I use it in theme pages and templates. But in plugin files I am having trouble. Like the above would be:

$mylink = site_url() . "/wp-content/uploads/images/";

But it is showing http:localhost/https://localhost/wp-content/uploads/images/”

Got it figured out. I was using an extra forward slash when I was echoing the image. That cased it to add localhost again.
