Trouble connecting with Campaign Monitor

I’m setting up Hustle to capture new subscribers on my client’s new site but am getting “Something went wrong. Please try again.” when I try to get lists. I have the API and I can log into the Campaign Monitor account, but I do not see the API myself. My client does. Do I need to see the API on my system to set this up properly? I can use TeamViewer to do this on client’s system if necessary. Let me know and thanks!
