    Have been getting this error:
    Oops… Your server is blocking the access to Freemius’ API, which is crucial for HYPE Social – Buffer license synchronization. Please contact your host to whitelist https://api.freemius.com
    Error received from the server:array ( ‘code’ => 28, ‘message’ => ‘Connection timed out after 10000 milliseconds’, ‘type’ => ‘CurlException’, )

    I had my server admin / host check blacklist and firewall rules and nothing is showing up which would be blocking this. Any ideas?

  • Hi @fsm, my name is Vova and I’m the lead developer at Freemius. Don’t worry about the error, it was probably a temporary API issue, just dismiss the message.

    This message is not shown in our new SDK versions so I hope that the guys at HYPESocial will finally update their plugin to include the latest version of Freemius.
