I just installed this plugin today, thinking it would help me with variable products, i.e. paperback books and ebooks. I set up the variation and put the affiliate link to the paperback product, set up the ebook and its download link. However, on the product page, when you choose paperback, you’re given an add to cart button and you’re charged for the book on the website. You’re not sent to the affiliate to purchase. What am I do wrong?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @hehafner

That’s really strange and I’m not able to replicate it by creating a “Book” product with the same options on my test site. Have you tried running a conflict test (default theme and all other plugins disabled)? If not, please try that and let me know the results (this tutorial explains the general steps: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/).

If no conflict is found, could you please show me some screenshots of the settings/fields when editing the product?

    Thank you for your response.

After a lot of testing & hair pulling, I figured it out. It was not clear to me at the time that the affiliate link needed to be placed in two places and the link for the ebook needed a different link. I assumed that the link for the affiliate only needed to be in the variation spot. However, that’s not the case. You also need it in the Inventory tab. I am not sure how I missed that piece of information in the instructions.

Thank you so much for this plugin. It works like a champ.
