Using 2010 Weaver theme, I’ve added an image above the header area to body, I have it looking the way I wanted in firefox, looks ok in ie, not so good in chrome, but then I noticed if I resize the browser it moves the image because it’s on the body.

The image is wider than the #wrapper area so I couldn’t add it to there because it wont allow it to move past the left and right sides.

Not sure where I should add it, I’d like to be able to just put it on top of the header but allow it to display past the wrapper sides.

Anyone know of a solution? https://zeaks.org is the site.
My css validates minus the text-shadow and box-shadow stuff.

Sure, It’s added to a child theme I made https://zeaks.org/themes-2/simpleten/
Check the header for wrapperimage and the size just above the wrapper ID, the footer has the bottom image and closing div and the css is in the stylesheet.

thanks man but i have another question hope you dont mind.
But how do i get a top widget to touch the header and menu

What do you mean by touch the header and menu? You want the sidebar widget area moved up? Or want a widget area under the menubar?

PS: You should start a new thread and link it so others that are looking for the same answer might find it.

The link i dont think will work without a user and pass so i dont think there is a point and also i have already posted a thread where i got no reply

also im using the weaver theme and there is a spot to put a widget there and i put the text widget there and placed an html code in there that would play a swf file i just it so that the swf is played right under with next to no spacing under the header/menu so it looks kind of like this
(that is the site i have to re-create for my summer co-op)

Hard to help you if I can’t view the site. You can usually reduce the space between the content and nav by adjusting the padding of #main, you’ll have to check what class the weaver widget uses (it’s listed on the widget area in admin options>widgets I think) and reduce the padding and adjust it to where you want.

Also, if you’re using Weaver, you might get a more accurate answer on the weaver forums if that doesn’t work.

thanks for the quick reply Zeaks ya i will try that if not just go to the weaver forums
