Trouble activating account

    When I tried creating an account on my blog I encountered the following error when trying to activate the account.

    Warning: require_once(/home/genera54/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/cimy-user-extra-fields/cimy_user_extra_fields.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/genera54/public_html/wp/wp-content/mu-plugins/cimy_uef_mu_activation.php on line 31

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/genera54/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/cimy-user-extra-fields/cimy_user_extra_fields.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/genera54/public_html/wp/wp-content/mu-plugins/cimy_uef_mu_activation.php on line 31

    I found the listed file in my installation. It is a multisite blog. Blog link.

  • Seems like Cimy User Extra Fields plugin is causing problems. De-activate it and see if that fixes the problem.

    well that did it. I had to remove the file from that folder to deactivate it though.
