Name: Mailer.S (Trojan)”. GOTMLS full scan didn’t fins anything, even tried Remote Based Scanners and install new wordpress(i have clean web site now and new access, new users). Your Gateway Anti-Virus Alert” error message is probably based on a blacklist, so even though your site is now clean your domain will stay on theier blacklist until you request a review to have it removed.

You need to find out what blacklist your Firewall Gateway Anti-Virus Service is using and get them to review your site.

    Thanks for reply!!!
So i guess the Anti-Virus Service is SonicWALL according to message “SonicWALL Blocked by Gateway Anti-Virus”. But to write to them and ask something i need to have a product. But i’m using wordpress. So i have no registration on their website(
Or where should i look for this blacklist?

    Thanks a lot for help!

There are lots of blacklists that your site could be on, but without knowing your domain I cannot help you track it down.

You should check https://www.virustotal.com/ and see if your URL is listed on any of those blacklists.

You could check with your hosting provider but they might give you more trouble than help if they think your site might be infected.

where and when do you get this “Gateway Anti-Virus Alert”? I don’t see that when I visit the URL you posted. Could that be something on your ISP’s connection?

I’m getting this error when trying to install/delete plugins, edit pages in WordPress. It appears on WP dashboard page.

It could be a virus on your PC or something on your network that is blocking your connection. have you tried connecting from another computer at a different location?

Since it only happens in your wp-admin it will be rather hard for anyone else to help you troubleshoot the issue.

Basically, you need to experiment more and try varying all the possible influences that cause this warning/alert until you can pin down a probable cause or at least determine what variables are key factors. Then you can start to narrow down the source or this message and find a solution.

You need more info (or rather I need more info if you expect more help from me). Your question is not about my plugin (or I’m sure I could provide a better answer for your) but it more of a troubleshooting problem. Since I can’t access your system you have to do the troubleshooting. So far it’s like I’m looking at your problem through a pin-hole, I need a more comprehensive description of the problem and all the variables.
