Trojan Found in the static download file

    Please be aware!
    Not completely sure if its from this plugin or from a zipped up cache plugin file. But when I download the file after it has been converted, My defender detected a Trojan.


    Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml

    Which will start a process on my PC
    pid:10908
    ProcessStart:133548364369710135

    Hey @samjco,

    thanks for reaching out.

    You should definitely check your WordPress website with a malware scanner – Simply Static only downloads what already on your website.

    We also get permanently monitored by all the big security companies in the WordPress space (PatchStack, WPScan and WordFence)

    So if something like that should ever happen within Simply Static (which was never the case), we would know about it immediately and patch it within a 24-hour time window, including a public disclosure explaining all the details ??
