Troble with migration

  • I’m making a new site in a subdirectory with a new theme.
    I want all the media, plugins, and DB from existing site in the new site.
    I have created my DB and did a clean install of WP, activated new theme and I’m using All In One WP Migrate.
    The plugins have transferred but are not active? or have not retained settings.
    The uploads/media is blank when I view Library yet if I look at the folders via ftp all the images are present.
    Also non of the pages are showing up, which I don’t mind I had plans on changing them.
    What did I miss here, I have gone over this and I’m stumped, only been using WP about 2 years so I have a lot to learn still.

    I am sorry for the inconvenience.
    Did you export using Advanced Options to exclude the database?

    Thanks for answering.

    I did use advance options, I did not exclude database.

    I did experience an issue and it prompted me to ftp the backup files
    from the wp-content ailw folder.

    What are your wp-content permissions?
    Are they set to 775 recursively?

    They were not but I have changed them now using Filezilla.

    Do I need to export and import again, the old site has had updates since my first attempt.

    I exported all but the theme.
