Trim issue in identifier field

Trim issue on the identifier field. We have more and more customers who have connection errors because when they fill in their identifiers, there are spaces which are added and prevent validation, which creates an identifier not known to our Database and therefore incompatible with checkbox option “Check if you want to instantly lock a login attempt with a user ID that does not exist on your system”.
