Triggers Fatal Error

  • I get “Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home/alectrit/secretlives.org.uk/wp-content/plugins/amazon-polly/admin/class-amazonpolly-admin.php on line 479” and unlike other plugins there doesn’t appear to be anyway to contact the author.

    Hello,
    This is the site where you can contact authors of the plugin. It’s much more scalable solutions, than emails. Which PHP version are you using?

    And news regarding this? Could you share with us which PHP version are you using?

    I have this same problem. Am using PHP version 5.4.43 on WordPress 4.9.4 on an Apache.

    Thx. In this case, the reason is the wrong PHP version ?? The plugin info says: Requires PHP Version:5.6 . In your case you are using older PHP version, and this is the reason of error :(.

    If this same situation is with you, I’m sorry, but we can’t do anything with it, because the plugin is just not compatible with your PHP version. Based on this your review 1 star is a bit harsh ??
