Triggers disappear randomly

  • I, like many others, have the issue where popup maker triggers disappear seemingly for no reason. The entire trigger window is empty as if no triggers were ever added. Everything else is in there. Has happened on multiple sites I manage.

    This issue has been going on for over a year since I’ve used this plugin, seemingly with no fix. It makes this plugin risky to use, which is unfortunate because when it works, it’s probably the best popup plugin for WordPress.

    Thanks for the post and we’re sorry to hear you encountered this issue.

    For our dev team to proceed with the fix, they have been trying to reproduce this issue, but they have been unable to do so so far. ??

    Could you send us a message via Support Request – Popup Maker and provide us with the following?

    1) Copy/paste any error messages (PHP logs, page errors, or dev tools console logs) you see.
    2) Attach or post screen captures of the issue (including error messages).
    3) Go to your Site Health > Info tab (wp-admin/site-health.php?tab=debug), copy the site info, and send it to us.
    4) Do you know if you’re running Redis cache on any server? You might need to ask your hosting provider.
    5) Do you recall the first time you noticed the issue? Did you do a major update to your site or servers around that time?
