Triggering WP 5.3 Image Resizing for existing images

  • Hey guys,

    with WP 5.3 handling large images now, I would like to know if there is a way to trigger the resizing for previously uploaded images as well?

    Not quite. The new code is for uploads, and you probably don’t want to re-upload those images.
    But you can use a plugin like Regenerate Thumbnails, which simply calls core functions to do its work. This is especially useful if you change your image size options.
