Tried to install buddypress plugin, got a fatal error and my whole sites gone

  • Hi there,

    I tried to install buddypress plugin into my twentyten theme and got this error message:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_site_admin() in /home/content/65/7113965/html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-links/bp-links-core.php on line 704

    I can’t access my site as an administrator or even a visitor…it’s gone. Help please.

    -try deactivating buddypress plugin to fix the problem.

    If you don’t have access to your admin area, try deactivating them manually via FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    Hey after trying to figure out how to get into my CPANEL i followed ur instructions and it worked. Thanks heaps…..im a bit scared of using Buddypress again!
