Tried to change one specific role not possible with this plugin

  • Great plugin for those who need to edit all roles in wordpress. Don’t like the fact that whatever role I choose it makes changes to the administrator setting also. Just needed to edit one role (author) and not the administrator role. Not worth to pay the $30 just to remove three things from a specific role.

    Thank you for your feedback.
    For about the one specific role(maybe Author), could you please tell me not possible customize for all(sidemenus, admin bar, metaboxes, …etc)?
    Or, not possible is only specific customization?

    I’ve tried to just customize the one particular role, but it carries those setting to administrator. Not what I need. I just gave on it and had to just go with something else that didn’t give me a headache to work with.

    Sorry, I don’t a little understand what you mean. Maybe my understood is wrong.
    I think one particular role is Author.
    Do you have check the Author in user roles group settings of WP Admin UI Customize?

    And, could you please send me to customize settings screenshots and Author screenshots?

    Hi,

    I noticed the plugin “Admin Menu Editor” which I had installed does not work together with “WP Admin UI Customize”. After de-activating “Admin Menu Editor” plugin, the “WP Admin UI Customize” plugin worked fine.

    So I now only use “WP Admin UI Customize” plugin and removed “Admin Menu Editor” plugin, because this last one is not realy needed.

    But my message, maybe shygirl51 has installed “Admin Menu Editor” plugin or some other ‘Admin-menu’ related plugin as well, and should just de-activate it.
