• I recently created a WordPress website to update my company’s site, cap-e.com. The original site was created using iWeb, and it is hosted by Network Solutions.
While I was creating the new website using wordpress, the URL was cap-e.com/wordpress1.
I finished working on the wordpress website and wanted to migrate it over to the main Capital-E URL to replace the original website. In wordpress, I changed the wordpress URL and site URL to cap-e.com.
After I made that change, the wordpress site disappeared. I can’t even log into my old wordpress account (I get the error message that it doesn’t exist.
However, if you go to the old wordpress URL (cap-e.com/wordpress1), you can see the old site menu, background, and footer.
How can I retrieve my old website and set it to the main URL for my company (cap-e.com) ?
I’m very new to wordpress and website design, so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
