I found two threads on this subject in this forum but both were closed without a solution.

    Here’s one:

    The “tribe-widget-events-list” block

I’m getting this error on events listing pages in the back end. No events are displayed.

The "tribe-widget-events-list" block was affected by errors and may not function properly. Check the developer tools for more details.

I was able to create a new page and insert the block without error and events show.

Using EZ-NetTools 02 Theme and latest version of WP and the plugin.

    Hi @goclimbing

Thanks for reaching out. Let me help you with this one.

There could be a plugin/theme conflict on your side. Does the issue persist if you only activate our plugins and use a default theme like the WP’s 2020 theme? I recommend doing this on a staging version of your website.
    [see Testing for conflicts]

Let me know how it goes.

I’ve got Pro so my workaround is:

    [tribe_events_list venue=”yes” website=”yes” limit=”50″]

If that starts to report the same problem I’ll post up. But in the back end where the error is thrown, because this is a shortcode no block is displayed so hopefully no error.

I think it might be related to using the Block Editor, inserting a Legacy Block where somehow that deprecated function gets called. Probably has a cache component (explaining why you can set it up but then it eventually breaks?).
