Tribe Event Calendar & LayerSlider

    Hi,

    I am using the Enfold theme with The Events Calendar and I want to use layerslider but on a custom template using the <?php layerslider(1); ?>

    But the slider doesnt show up and nor does the content but if I use `<?php echo do_shortcode(‘[av_layerslider id=”1″]’); ?> i just get a place holder with the events calendar below which i want but with the slides scrolling through.

    Is there any way to resolve this.

    Howdy Stephen,

    It sounds like the two queries might be fighting each other. It will probably be necessary to put your shortcode call outside of the main events loop. Can you put it inside a custom Page Template instead? That should isolate it.
