Treatment of blanks in search term

    Hello,

    we noticed an issue with search queries that contain blanks such as for example “kung fu”.
    In our shop we enabled searching title, sku and tags.
    When searching for “kung” or “kung-fu” the correct kung fu products are displayed. But when searching “kung fu” all kinds of different products are shown on the results page that do not have any connection with kung fu in their title, sku or tags.

    So, is it possible for the plugin to “ignore” or replace the blanks to get better search results?

    Hello,

    When you search for “kung fu” than you will get products that have at least one word in its content – “kung” or “fu”.
    It is OR logic in search. That’s how this search plugin works.

    ok I understand that. Is there a way to change it to a AND logic in the code?

    For now switch to AND logic available only for Pro plugin version.
