Trash-Link is gone in Posts

  • Hello,

    the trash link is gone in the post list view and the single post on a website. It’s shown for drafts but not for published posts.

    What I did:

    – Updated everything, no changes
    – Test in Troubleshooting Mode, no changes
    – Searched the internet – no results
    – Searched this forum – no results

    So now I’m stuck. Does anyone has an idea what happens here?

    Hello again, does anybody have an idea, what is happening here?

    yes i had the samme problem, i didnt find the trash link on even my post or pages but when i deleted a page it came out same with the posts.

    In my case it was a database error, maybe caused by switching the server a few month ago. Database switched from MySQL to Maria DB. But I am not sure if that caused the problem.

    I could solve the problem by creating a new WordPress Installation, exporting and importing all post types one by one and migrate the rest (everything but the database) with Updraft Plus.

    After that I needed to update some things and create new users.

    Maybe this works for you, too?
