Transposh Plugin Gets Caught In Redirect Loop

Transposh is an invaluable plug in for a site (www.roselleparknews.org) like mine that offers a service to the community.

Every couple of days my website gets caught in a redirect loop – mostly for the main page but now some other pages are having the same problem.

I can still see the pages if I include a question mark (www.roselleparknews.org/?) and I can automatically fix this problem temporarily by clearing the caches on the back end.

I am using WP Engine but they have no way of setting the (/?) as a default and suggested that something in the plugin settings could fix that.

I have noticed that it might have something to do with the language translations because the first time it happens for me I see another language as a subdirectory (the last two times was /ca and /ch) and then it gets stuck.
