During the scan of wordfence it finds the following. But where?
When I check the plugins I find: “Version 0.9.9.2 | By Team Transposh | Visit plugin site”
    So where is the mismatch?

The Plugin “Transposh WordPress Translation” appears to be abandoned (updated 27/12/2014, tested to WP 4.1.20).

    Plugin Name: Transposh WordPress Translation
    Plugin Website: https://transposh.org/
    Current Plugin Version: 0.9.6
    Last Updated: 27/12/2014
    Severity: Warning
    Status New

It was last updated 2 years 11 months ago and tested up to WordPress 4.1.20. It may have compatibility problems with the current version of WordPress or unknown security issues

  • What “mismtach” are you referring to?

The warning is indicating that the plug-in hasn’t been updated in almost 3 years and may have been abandoned.

Which means it’s up to you to determine if the plug-in is still viable for your needs as the developer seems to no longer be updating it to keep it current.

It may still be fine to use, but WF is simply pointing it out for your situational awareness.

The mismatch is that the installed version is 0.9.9.2 and the tool finds 0.9.6
    also it was updated recently.
So I am wondering where wordfence pulls the info from.

The author is no longer maintaining the plugin on www.remarpro.com, but he is releasing updates from the Transposh website. The latest update is 0.9.9.2, released on 05/10/2017:

    https://transposh.org/version-0-9-9-2-not-a-git/
    https://svc.transposh.org/transposh.latest.zip

Wordfence is puling the info from the plugin’s readme on www.remarpro.com. Looks like you can ignore this warning.

    Hi @mbeerli,
Exactly as “barnez” mentioned, Wordfence checks the plugin’s version on the official WordPress plugins repository, which has “0.9.6” as the recent version for the plugin mentioned at the moment.

    Thanks.
