    I have made a logo for my blog and rss logo and placed at the top of my blog. When i browse with FireFox i see that everything is fine, Logos looks fine. But when i browse with IE that transparent background of my logos is shown as white. How to solve it?

  • It’s because you’ve used a transparent png image, which Internet Explorer doesn’t support (can’t remember if IE7 does). There are a number of fixes available, if you search for “png fix”. But the simplest way might be to use one of the plugins available; this one looks as though it will do the job:

    I believe IE 7 supports png images, just IE 6 is evil. you could use javascript .png fix, or tell your friends to step away from IE. IE is pure evil. Use Google Chrome or Firefox instead.

    It depends on the kind of transparency is used. IE6 does not support alpha-transparency but it does support index-transparency. IE7 handles both of them just fine. Let’s not forget that IE6 is going on it’s 7th year now. That’s like 105 in ICT years.

    Can you all say if it looks fine? https://www.digit-8.com I have IE version 6.0.2900.2180. and it shows me white background maybe it’s only my pc?
