transparent header twenty eleven

  • I am using Twenty Eleven. I have made #page background transparent so that the header is also transparent.
    I understand that now I need to make #main background #fff in order for the rest of the page to have a white background. I did that but the main div is resting just under the navigation bar and is very narrow. I know I need to make all the content appear within the #main div but can’t see where to do this in the code. Any advice please?

    you might have some broken html tags – check with https://validator.w3.org/

    as far as i experience it, #main stretches the whole width and down to the footer.

    alternatively, you could try to put a background color on #primary

    Thanks for your reply. I could not find which was the right php file to change to stretch the #main div down. I have since decided the transparent look was not right for this website so the page background is back to white now. However would still like to know where I would make changes to the structure specifically the #main div. I can’t post a link to the website yet, sorry.
