    Hi,
    Im trying to use Optimizer (first time building a website) and want the header on the frontpage to change to transparent, so that the header text will appear at the top of my image instead of in a black row. I tried to change the settings as stated in the help text, but it doesn’t seem to work. What could I be doing wrong?

    Hi Corine

    You can make the header transparent from Appearance -> Customize -> Header and turn on “Transparent Header on Frontpage”

    Thanks

    Thank you so much for your quick reply. I did already try your solution before and thought it didn’t work. But now I see that it does after all. Only in the preview window you can’t see it. Not that important as long as it changes the actual frontpage! Thanks again! Corine

    Hi,
    thanks again for your help yesterday. Will definitely make a review once I’ve made up my mind ??
    For now I’m struggling with another problem. But I don’t know whether it’s me or the theme. I have made a child theme for optimizer exactly as it is stated in the help text. I have installed the theme and that worked fine. But I do not seem to be able to change the font to handlee everywhere on the site. I have adjusted it in basic settings (2 times) and header settings, but the font seems to change only partly and not everywhere. The original theme doen’t seem to have that problem. When I activate the original theme, it’s working fine. Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance,
    Corine

    Cornie,

    Try adding this to your child theme’s stylesheet:

    body, input, textarea{ font-family:Handlee!important; }

    We will fix the issue in the next version.

    Thanks
