transparent background in header

    I would like to know how to change the background of the header to be transparent. I used a .png with transparency for the image but I’m guessing somewhere in the .css or something I need to edit some code to get a transparent background in the header as well, instead of white. If anyone knows where this is and can tell me how to make it transparent I would really appreciate it!!
