• I would just like to point out the lack of “transparency” when it comes to pricing of the Wix Website templates and third party connectors.

    In order to connect Booking.com, Expedia and the likes, these are the things that I had to do:

    1. Upgrade to Premium Unlimited Hotel Plan (found out later that this upgrade did not enable me to connect my Rooms & Availability to the required Booking Agents);

    2. Then I had to Upgrade to Hotel + (in order to connect the Rooms & Availability) – each upgrade demanded a further yearly cost, of course;

    3. Later I was informed that in order to actually connect to Booking.com, Expeia and the like, I had to use their recommended third party, MyAllocator (which connects the website to the booking agents) – again at a monthly fee of $42 (Wix suggested it would only cost $25/m !?)

    Is there anyone out there who can compare Wix fee charges to WordPress charges and connectors (third party go betweens) ?

    Hi cornermanorleura,

    Thanks for reviewing us but I’m afraid you are confusing us with a different platform.

    Wix Hotels for WordPress is 100% free – you don’t need to pay anything to use our plugin. There is a difference between Wix platform package to the one you get through the WordPress plugin. You don’t need to pay to enable the syncing feature or to get bookings through your website. Myallocator is a 3rd party syncing platform which you choose to use with extra cost. However, we suggest using iCal synching option which is free of charge.

    I would love to answer questions or assist you with any issue. Feel free to contact me at [email protected]

    Thanks
