• Hi,

I’m using your plugin together with Polylang Pro but it looks like the translation management is not working.

The page is in ENG, ES and CA but it always displays the ENG texts.
I see that the ES translation is complete but it doesn’t display.

If I change the language on WP admin using Polylang switcher and go to your plugin settings I can change the texts, but the change affects to all the languages.

Also, I don’t see the plugin’s language notice banner (that I saw on your screenshots) so I have the feeling that is not detecting the WP instance as multilingual.

Could you please point me in the right direction to fix the issue.

    Thanks.

    Hi again,

To be more specific the main issue is the first layer banner.
As you can see in the screenshot even if is the ES version y displays the EN texts.

What is estrange thing is that if you click in settings button some of the texts are translated.

I hope this extra info helps you identifying the issue.

    Thanks.

    Hi @nahuai

We tested the GDPR compatibility with Polylang PRO v3.2.2 and the integration is working properly.

However, there is an issue with Polylang (free and pro versions) – they are not switching the WordPress admin language, and because of this, the default translations are not loaded.

The GDPR plugin shows the notification “You are currently editing” -> “Spanish” or “Deutsch” but the languages are not loaded by Polylang plugin.

You can translate all the strings manually, and save the options, this will work on the front-end, the issue is in Polylang plugin, as the main admin menu (links and everything) is not changing when you change the language in admin-bar.

In conclusion, our plugin working properly with Polylang, but the Polylang doesn’t load the translated strings in admin area based on selected language (the default site language is used on admin area).
