Since the update my translations aren’t showing up. They are saved in the safe space, I checked the files in that location and they are the current translated files. This is on a variety of plugins, all translations that were there before the update to 2.3.0

    Things I have tried:
    Changed themes
Deactivated all plugins and tried them individually
    Cleared cache
Changed translation file locations to the not safe spaces
    Uninstall and reinstall Loco Translate

This screenshot shows some of the translations, where they are stored, and where they should correlate on the front end: https://imgur.com/a/ivbeTZa

I’m all out of ideas on what else to try ?? Thanks for any help!

I’m sorry to push for an answer, I have gone over all FAQ, have completely removed all translations and started again, I’m out of options. I can also provide screenshots showing where the translations worked before the most recent update – so this isn’t an issue with hosting or with specific phrases being unable to translate. It’s across all plugins and all themes, even with a brand new set of translations from scratch. Any help would be appreciated.

You haven’t received an answer because you’ve not mentioned anything that I can help you with. See available support: https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/support#help

Okay, so translations worked on all plugins before I updated Loco, then they stopped, and no longer work, when nothing else changed. I’ve communicated with the other plugin authors, I’m not sure what else could be causing this except Loco.

Loco Translate is a file editor. It is not responsible for displaying translations and doesn’t even have to be installed when your files are in the default system locations. (which you said you’ve tried and it still doesn’t work).

If you’ve exhausted all the FAQs and guides and still think Loco Translate is causing a problem, then please provide the precise steps to reproduce that problem.

I finally tricked it into working, and you are right, not a Loco issue, just a random glitch. I turned the default language to something else, saved, turned it back to English and it worked.
