• Hello,

I’ve been using your plug-in for many sites now and recently we’ve been building a bigger one. A Platform using Jobmonster theme.

We tried translating the theme and strings but unfortunatly sometimes the strings we’ve translated just go missing or the translation is gone.. The website strings are english and we translate it to dutch also using the child theme.

Now also when I try to search certain english strings it just simply won’t pop-up in the loco file. Can you guys check my platform and ftp to see if anythings wrong and maybe help me out placing it right so nothing will ever go lost again unless I overwrite it myself? Because we haven’t updated anything on this platform and still many of the string are back to english…

    Thank you.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

This plugin doesn’t revert or remove translations, but something else might. See FAQ: https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/faqs/files-deleted

Hmm ok, so I think it’s best to cancel wordpress auto update language files because maybe something goes wrong there. But when I add the line at our wp-config the site gives an error. Can you assist me?

Don’t add filters on the config because WordPress hasn’t loaded yet. Read the comment under the code snippet which suggests using it as a Must-Use plugin.

Coding and general WordPress management are beyond the help I can provide. I recommend against saving custom translations in system locations. There is lots of advice in my pages about avoiding that.
