    Hi,

the plugin works fine, but I want to use the German translation of the input form. Is “user-submitted-posts” a shortcode itself or a parameter? Neither works for me with a new WordPress installation (latest).

Glad to help. Which shortcode are you using to display the form?

Thank you for your very quick reply!

    [user-submitted-posts]

    Tried
    [user-submitted-posts usp-de_DE]
    and
    [usp-de_DE]

without success. First displays English, second one nothing…

Ah, no the shortcodes are sort of “as-is”, so they won’t do anything if you change them. I’m not an expert in translations, but as far as I know, to enable a different language visit the WP general settings, there should be an option to choose the language for the site.

    Oh I got it:

There’s two kinds of German: “Deutsch” and “Deutsch: Sie”. The 2nd one is more formal, but the plugin doesn’t recognise it..

Your hint helped me, thank you! Maybe in the future another translation for the 2nd one would be possible, that would be helpful!

Awesome glad you got it. Also anyone can add a translation for almost any language, check out these links if you are interested:

    Thank you.
I will help you with translation (I already started), but for now I need a quick way to change the texts of the “title” and “content” box… How can I do that?

The only way is to set up the custom form. You can find complete instructions in the plugin readme.txt/documentation.
