Translation with WPML?

  • Hello,

    first of all…thanks for the great plugin. Very helpful.

    I’m trying to translate the size charts in different languages for a multilingual site with WPML.

    I managed to translate all 3 of them in Italian (SEE SCREENSHOT HERE). And to translate the modal button from “SIZE GUIDE” to “GUIDA ALLE MISURE” (in Italian – SEE SCREENSHOT HERE).

    But unfortunately when the modal opens…the guide is in English, no matter what. (SEE SCREENSHOT HERE)

    How can I fix this? What am I doing wrong?

    Hello Mrprainx,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    That popup information is coming from the size chart content area.

    So you need to edit that size chart and there you can update the text content and it will work for you.

    Hi Hitendra,

    I’ve found the right way to translate that.

    After having done what I described in the first post, when you open the Advanced Translator Editor of WPML you have to search for the Size Chart ID in the original language and translate it with the Size Chart ID of the other language.

    This Size Chart ID doesn’t show up by default in WPML. You have to manually search for it.
