    Hi

I have seen in several places that by enabling “Native WooCommerce product editing screen” I can be able to translate products and more specifically custom product tabs. There is no such option in the latest WPML and Multilingual Woocommerce. You are stating WPML compatibility. Can you explain how i can translated custom tabs with full text editor and not single line (not easy to use interface)? How can I enable the text editor while editing product with the WPML translator?

    Thanx

    Hi @fmixell

thanx for the reply. I have seen Weglot, but it is not my cup of tea. Moreover, I have already paid for the best translation plugin and not willing to move to another solution.
Please find out how I can use TABS and WPML together.

    Thanx

    Hey @pekos,

I’m currently working on building a better method for adding translations for Custom Product Tabs but I could use some help if you would be willing. Are you able to take screen shots of what you’re trying to edit with WPML and how you would like to see this functionality implemented from your perspective? This is a tricky subject because the vast types of data that is inserted into a custom product tab. You could insert standard html, shortcodes, text, images, and the list goes on so I’m wondering what your specific use case looks like so I can get a better understanding of the need.

    Cheers,
    Freddie

    Hi @fmixell

I am willing to help to make this once available for my purposes but for everyone too, that is trying to make translations to custom tabs.

However just to make sure what is actually needed right now is to be able to insert all these data types in the WPML translation page where currently one is limited to pure simple text with no options to insert markup, shortcodes, etc.
In the product editing page (for the default language) custom tabs text allows for all data types to be processed, this is not possible in the WPML translation page.

Please let me know what you need from my side.

    thanx
