thanks for your request. It is a part of the reference since launch, you just have to take a look under the installation-paragraphs.

Additionally take a look how AMP works ( https://www.ampproject.org/support/faqs/overview ) . – Most AMP-Plugins doesnt replace your HTML-Code to AMP-Code! AMP Plugins add an AMP-Version of every single page and set the <amphtml>-tag into your HTML-Code, like the ampproject recommends it. So your site uses normal HTML, but is prepared and linked for the Google-AMP-Cache.
