    Hi @tippl,

You can set the Site Language to German (Sie) instead, and the documents will automatically be changed to the formal version.

You can change this setting under Settings > General > Site Language.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

Ok, I have to change the whole website to “Sie”? Not all plugins are fully translated to formal German.

When I change and open the new generated cookie policy, the very first sentence is Englisch:

“This Cookie Policy was last updated on Juni 21, 2021 and applies to citizens and legal permanent residents of the European Economic Area.”

    Hi @tippl,

It sounds like the required language files are not available. After switching the Site Language in Settings, can you go to Dashboard > Updates to update all of the required translation files? (Updating any plugin should automatically fetch the translation files.)

Additionally, when multiple languages are required, you can use a multilanguage plugin such as PolyLang or WPML to translate the legal documents to German (Sie). I attach the articles explaining how to translate Complianz documents to multiple languages using these plugins below.

After 2 days waiting, the first sentence transformed magically into German too. Thanks a lot. Everything is fine now.

    Hi @tippl,

That’s great to hear. I’ll mark this thread as resolved, but don’t hesitate to reach out if there are any further questions.
